En dus toch is het legendarische, gerespecteerde Cave In uit Boston zijn grootste klap, de plotse dood van hun zanger-bassist Caleb Scofield, glorieus te boven gekomen. Gesteund door Converge-bassist Nate Newton, nieuw aan de bas, hebben ze de groep van het infuus gehaald en hebben ze zelfs een zevende album afgekregen. Je hoort het terstond, het vurige bloed stroomt eindelijk weer volop doorheen de aderen op dat felle nieuwe Heavy Pendulum. Je krijgt zelfs een lange zit van zowat 70 minuten voorgeschoteld. Maar no problem, het zal het luisterplezier echt alleen maar vergroten. Alvast een aantal zaken zijn zeker, creativiteit is er bij de vleet, hun horizon die hebben ze...
